Our team at the Men’s Shelter Clinic consists of a prescriber, nurse, mental health care provider if one is available, team manager, and student learners. Since the clinic’s start in March 2021, a partnership with UWSMPH’s student run MEDiC clinic formed enabling its students and clinicians to volunteer with us to better help our clients at the Porchlight Men’s Emergency Shelter!

Our in-person clinic gives people a chance to have one-on-one appointments with a provider and a volunteer. Common clinic visit topics include: short term renewal of chronic medications; acute conditions of the eyes, ears, nose, teeth or throat; musculoskeletal injuries & pain; and help establishing a PCP & making an appointment.
